Route

Singapore River - Civic District - Merlion Park, Marina Bay

Begin your photography session by capturing the activities along the river, which has historically been the city's lifeblood since its days as a trading port in the 19th century. The river is lined with olden-days warehouses and has now transformed into a vibrant lifestyle precinct.

Moving towards the Civic District, you will photograph Singapore’s colonial architecture. At Marina Bay, you will photograph Singapore's modern and futuristic structures. There will be some vibrant street scenes to capture along the way.

You will explore vantage points at both ground level and elevated heights to obtain interesting angles and perspectives of various places and landmarks.

Singapore’s skyline is a stunning sight at night, with its lit-up buildings and street lights glowing against the dark sky. Night photography allows you to explore a different facet of the city. Water bodies, moving boats, and cars provide opportunities for stunning long-exposure shots.

You will be guided with photography tips and techniques to help you achieve the best day and night photography.

For a photographer's first time in Singapore, this photo tour offers a great visual introduction to the city-state.
