To begin your journey to create great photos, you start by building a solid foundation in photography.

This workshop is for beginners and is focused on getting you going with your photography journey.​​​ You will engage in many hands-on practices on location, with tips and techniques that are bite-sized, making them easy to understand and remember.

What Is Covered In This Workshop​

Explore camera components and functions

Learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, exposure, metering

Identify the available shooting modes, including aperture and shutter priority

Know the files to shoot in (JPG, RAW)

Get a grip on composition and lighting to make a good picture

What Do You Need For The Workshop

Your camera (DSLR, mirrorless or any digital camera)

Wide-angle lens with hood. If you have any other lenses that you want to try out, please feel free to bring them.

Basic Photography and Night Photography Workshop can be combined into a 4-hour programme. Besides learning the basics of photography, the evening workshop will further enhance your skills in low-light and night photography techniques with more hands-on practices to overcome photography in challenging lighting. Take note that a tripod is required for the evening workshop. Contact us for the fee.​
